The world's largest car roll on/roll off ship carries goods to Europe at Yantai Port
The world's largest car roll on/roll off ship, Anji Ansheng, recently loaded 3850 export cars at the port to Europe.
The "Anji Ansheng" ship is the first domestically manufactured 9500 car super large roll on/roll off ship in China, with a total length of 228 meters and a width of 37.8 meters. It has 13 vehicle decks and 9500 standard loading spaces. The number of commercial vehicles transported on a single voyage can accommodate up to 20 standard football fields.

During the operation of the "Anji Ansheng" ship in the port, Yantai Port closely cooperated with port units such as Yantai Customs, Yantai Maritime, Yantai Entry Exit Border Inspection Station, and Yantai Port Pilot Station to set up a dedicated centralized storage area for vehicle boarding needs, and optimized safety measures such as inspection and control, battery level detection, and discharge and power-off.
As a commodity vehicle logistics base in Shandong Port and a hub port for commodity vehicle logistics in northern China, Yantai Port has currently opened 5 domestic routes and 11 international routes, achieving full connectivity of major commodity vehicle terminals worldwide.
In the first seven months of this year, the full mode freight volume of commercial vehicles at Yantai Port increased by 4.6% year-on-year, and the strong agglomeration effect of goods sources attracted top roll on/roll off ships from around the world to dock and load, providing "port hyperlinks" for "Made in China" to go global.
